Handlingen kretsar kring Mako Kawai, som börjar sitt första år på college och ansluter sig till en klubb där hennes nya vänner delar hennes passion för mat och kulinariska upptäckter. Vid sidan av Mako finns Kurea Furutachi, Shinon Ogawa, Tsutsuji Higa och Nana Hoshi. Tillsammans upplever de sitt studentliv fullt av skratt, studier och gemensamma matstunder. Serien porträtterar hur de fem tjejerna växer tillsammans genom vardagliga situationer och hur maten blir en förenade kraft i deras vänskaper.
