Handlingen börjar när familjen Robinson crashlander på en okänd planet och måste kämpa för sin överlevnad under extrema förhållanden. Deras tre barn spelas av Maxwell Jenkins som Will Robinson, Taylor Russell som Judy Robinson och Mina Sundwall som Penny Robinson.
