Serien kretsar kring Yu-hsuan, som förlorar sin pojkvän Chuan-sheng i en flygolycka. Under sökandet efter svar upptäcker hon ett gammalt fotografi från 1998 där både Chuan-sheng och en tjej som ser ut som henne själv syns. Denna upptäckt utlöser en serie oväntade händelser. Yu-hsuan hamnar på mystiska vägar och reser tillbaka till 1998, där hon möter en pojke som liknar Chuan-sheng. Genom en hemlig audiotejp dras hon in i olika alternativa verkligheter, där hon ständigt förloras och återfinns tillsammans med samma man.
