Programmet presenterar unga bäckare i åldern nio till tretton år som tävlar om titeln Junior Bake Off Champion. Deltagarna genomför en serie utmaningar där de demonstrerar sina bakunskaper genom tekniska bakverk och showstopper-utmaningar. Samtliga recept är originalskapade av barnen själva, vilket ger tävlingen en personlig karaktär. Under serien framställer ungdomarna allt från kakor och kakor till bröd och andra bakverk.
Formatet följer The Great British Baking Shows etablerade struktur men är anpassat för en yngre publik. Serien fokuserar på barnas kreativitet, precision och förmåga att hantera tidspress under bakutmaningarna. Programmet belyser både teknisk skicklighet och originalitet inom bakning.
